Overview

Through this project, we advanced the rights of underserved women such as women with disabilities, women living with HIV, sex workers and women working in the transport sector and gender minorities like intersex and transgender persons. Our approach combined legal empowerment trainings, research, policy and legislative advocacy, digital and media campaigns, sensitisation and capacity-building of duty bearers, and economic empowerment initiatives through the provision of legal support for the registration of businesses and self-help groups.
